Pupil Voice

At The Heights we believe that our pupils have a right to be heard and to influence school life. For this reason we have form representatives from the student body who attend half termly meetings hosted by Nicola Normanton (TA).

Pupils are asked for suggestions and consulted about various issues in school and this information is then responded to by the Head of School.

Examples of the impact of student voice:

  • Pupils asked for a vending machine which was installed in April 2016.
  • Pupils requested theme days in the canteen, the first was held in March 2016 and a further one is planned for May 2016.
  • Pupils requested Leavers Hoodies for year 11 pupils, these were introduced in May 2015.
